These photos were taken during rehearsal for the performances of the Holiday Concert 12 Dancers Dancing, a Christmas in Cambridge Dec.2008. UNBELIEVABLY, I had dislocated my kneecap only 3 weeks before!!! The doctor thought it would be months before I danced again. I literally did physical therapy on it morning, noon and night- 5 times a day in all. I am also certified as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor by the American Council on Exercise and am certified as a Health Fitness Specialist by the American College of Sports Medicine. I used everything I learned about acute injury management and strengthening to get back in double time. I am proud of these pictures as I can't believe I could dance this cleanly so soon after a major injury.
